My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
Many of you know I have Chronic Kidney Disease and my kidneys are not behaving well lately. So I have decided to once again do the Red Socks Run to get me moving and remind me that its OK to struggle. I’m showing up for every renal unit, every patient (including me) and moving towards a future without dialysis.
There are over 15,000 Australians on dialysis, and that number is rising. That’s why urgent action is needed now - to slow the progression and ultimately stop it.
Every dollar raised, every km logged, every step we take brings us closer to a future without dialysis.
A patient requiring dialysis spends 60hrs a month on dialysis (luckily not me yet) and together we can Move for them and Move for change!
Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
