My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health
People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine. Trust me when I say... It absolutely sucks. I still can't believe we don't have a better option for people with kidney failure. There has got to be a better way! Help me fund it!!
This October, I have committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians like me living with kidney disease.
I will be taking on 60km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness and helping fund better care.
It's also a good idea to get yourself tested because 1 in 7 Australians have signs of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and 2.5 million remain undiagnosed! I was undiagnosed for years before I knew, and by then, there was no time left.
Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
