My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health

People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine.

At the end of September, we found out that my partner was in kidney failure and that he has Chronic Kidney Disease. This is a disease that will affect him for the rest of his life. 

He is only 21, and had no symptoms other than fatigue and dizziness. Please take this as a sign to go get checked out when you are ill, even if it is something that only seems small. 

This October, I have committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.  

I will be taking on 60km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness and helping fund better care.

Hey! We have somehow hit $1000 already (shout out Sells for pushing us over the edge!)
We didnt expect to hit $500, let alone $1000 - especially in the first 12 hours!
I'll be moving the goal up again to $1500 just to see what happens.
