My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health
People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine. My pops did this for 30 years till he was 98 years old. He served in the army as a Sergeant and was granted a medal of honour for his bravery and keeping his entire platoon alive during his tour.
This October, I have committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.
I will be taking on 99km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness and helping fund better care.
Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
