60Ks in 1 Day! - My Walk for Michael

On Friday 31st October, I’ll be walking 60Km in one day for the Red Socks Run in support of the 15,000 Australians who spend 60hrs each month on dialysis, and in support of my son Michael who was born with Renal cystic hypodysplasia.
Michael was diagnosed when he was only a few days old and whilst he is currently a relatively normal boy who loves all things cars it is likely that he will require increased treatment in the foreseeable future.
By donating to my Red Socks Run campaign you’ll be making a difference to families like mine who are directly affected by a loved one living with kidney disease.
Your donation can help fund a welcome pack sent to a child recently diagnosed with kidney disease featuring a ‘Billy the kidney’ plushie, supporting day trips for Kidney Kids events and Kidney Health Youth programs all the way to supporting accommodation for families of those receiving Kidney Transplants through to the mobile haemodialysis Big Red Kidney Bus.
This fundraiser is really special to me and something which has personally helped our family so please follow my journey and if you have the financial means I would be so grateful for a donation to help me reach my goal of raising $1,500.
