Kidney Kweens take on the Red Socks Challenge
People on haemodialysis can spend around 60 hours every month connected to a dialysis machine — and that’s before you count the travel, appointments and the impact kidney disease has on everyday life.
As the SNSWLHD Renal team, this is something we see every day.
So this October, the Kidney Kweens are taking on the Red Socks Challenge, walking 60 km each to recognise those 60 hours and to stand alongside the people and families living with kidney disease in our communities.
We’re hoping to raise some money, raise some awareness, and maybe convince a few more of our renal crew to pull on their red socks and join us along the way ❤️🧦🫘
If you can, please donate to our team and help support a better future for Australians living with kidney disease.
