Our Red Socks Challenge for Joe & Kidney Health
As most people know this is a cause very close to our hearts.
We have our wonderful husband and father, Joe, that suffers from a rare kidney disease called Focal Segmental Glomerulo Sclerosis or FSGS in his only working kidney.
Dialysis is in his future, and due to this we have decided that we need to take part in this challenge not just for Joe but for all the people undergoing dialysis.
People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine.
This October, our team have committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.
We will be taking on 60km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis — raising awareness and helping fund better care.
Please donate to our team to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
