My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health

I've been recently diagnosed with (moderate) Chronic Kidney Disease, so Kidney Health and avoiding dialysis in ever present in my mind.

This October, I’m showing up for every renal unit, every patient and moving towards a future without dialysis.

There are over 15,000 Australians on dialysis, and that number is rising. That’s why urgent action is needed now - to slow the progression and ultimately stop it.

Every dollar raised, every km logged, every step we take brings us closer to a future without dialysis.

Join me to honour the 60hrs a month someone spends on dialysis and together we can Move for them and Move for change!

Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.

Hobbling along

Saturday 25th Oct
Me and my walking stick have logged up 13kms in the past week, after my fundraising for kidney disease/dialysis was halted by a couple of fractures. Thanks to all who have donated - I've upped my fundraising target after such amazing support.

Hiccup

Friday 3rd Oct
A bit of a hiccup has happened to my plans to walk at least 50hours during October, raising $$s for kidney dialysis. I'm still fundraising through this page, but walking may be a challenge after fracturing my patella and humerus last Sunday.
