Red Socks Challenge 2026

My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health

People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine.

This October, I have
committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.

I will be taking on 60km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness and helping fund better care.

Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.

our story so far

Sunday 13th Sep
Tennyson was born with stage 3, moved to stage 4 april 2025 and we are on tve decline slowly .  Looking for a donor, at this stage O blood group, please reach out if your interested.  Tennyson gets tired alot more now, eating is up and down all alligns with being at this stage.   Been a long journey, if we dont get a donor at some point we will start dialysis.    Been on medication since he was born  . Has PUV disorder as well meaning wears a urine bag day and night.   We are taking part in this to highlight the importance of kidney health, and what our kidney warriors have to go through...  i will possibly look at organising a walk one weekend in october.
