My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health
People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine.
Living with PKD myself, and seeing the challenges that members of my family have already faced or are still navigating, makes this cause incredibly close to my heart.
I hope that, in some small way, I can make a difference for those who need support today, while also helping contribute to research and advancements for the future — including for the day when I may need them myself.
This October, I have committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.
I will be taking on 100km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness and helping fund better care.
Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
