Moving for a future without dialysis

Eight years on dialysis and still counting. It’s more than needles and machines, it’s 60 hours every month hooked up just to stay alive. It’s exhausting, it’s relentless but it’s also taught me what resilience and hope really mean.

This year, I’m walking in the Red Socks Run again,every step for those of us living with kidney disease. Not because it’s easy, but because kidney disease isn’t. I’m walking to raise awareness, to fight for better kidney health, and to push towards a future where people like me don’t have to spend our lives tied to a machine.
