My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health
People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine. Working at Liverpool Hospital now in Renal Services I see this first hand and the impact it has on daily life.
This October, I have committed to the Red Socks Challenge, with my amazing team mates in Renal Services at Liverpool Hospital, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.
I will be taking on 60km in October to honour the ~60 hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness for CKD, the positive impact physical activity can have on CKD and helping fund better care.
Those of you that know me, know how much I dislike walking and cardio so please donate generously to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
Thank you!
