Our Red Socks Run for our Tydey♥️♥️♥️
This October, we're going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it.
By running, walking, or riding 60km, we want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney failure need to spend on dialysis each month.

After seeing this initiative I thought hard about what message and encouragement I wanted to give. First off I love the cause and have even more love for the specimen of a man that's put their foot foward for this challenge. 60km is a great feat for any human but knowing the challenges that Rhane himself has gone through over the last few years, I would be lying if I said I wasn't shocked when I saw this pop in my feed. This is when I was humbly reminded of who Rhane is as a human. As someone that's known Rhane from primary school and more importantly and intimately on the rift, I can say that Rhane is a man with first a kind heart but more importantly a man that refuses to turn a blind eye to life. I could go on and on but I want to leave you with this: I have no doubt in my mind that you will smash this challenge; Long live the revolution.

First of i would like to say for the average person a 60km run is a massive, daring feat. but make no mistakes, this is no average man were talking about here. Let me introduce myself.. I'm Tama .. a close friend of rhanes since childhood. For as long as I can remember, Rhane has struggled with overeating and obesity. Portions have always been imaginary to rhane, to paint the picture for you... the jumbo KFC family bucket meal can easily become a meal for one when Rhanes involved.. A few concerns and questions, his joints get a bit sore when he walks up and down stairs so he might need to take his pain killers a bit earlier in the morning? will we have electrolytes on demand just incase he gets a bit dizzy 300 meters into the run? Great cause rhane and much love from your seriously concerned friend, Tama.
