Wear a pair to show you care

There are currently 25,000 Australians living with kidney failure. Dialysis or kidney transplant are needed for them to stay alive. For those on dialysis, they spend an average of 60 hours a month hooked to this life-saving machine, which cleans their blood of toxins.

Dialysis can make them feel cold so blankets and warm socks are a must…hence, the idea of red socks was born.

Kidney disease is a deadly disease and there is currently no cure. 1.7 million Australians are affected by the disease and it can have an enormous impact on people’s physical and mental health, family lives and livelihood.

Kidney Health Australia has been supporting the kidney community for over 50 years through early detection, support programs and research.

Buy a pair of red socks and show the kidney community you care

Proceeds made will help us to fund critical support services such as the Kidney Helpline, Kidney Kids and Youth Program, Transplant House and Big Red Kidney Bus.
