My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run as if my life depends on it.
By running, walking, or riding 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.
As a fellow kidney warrior & someone who lives with kidney disease, I was lucky enough to have lived through dialysis treatment & come out the other side as the result of a life saving kidney transplant. I know all too well the physical, emotional & mental toll that kidney disease has on ‘kidney warriors’ & there loved ones (I use the term kidney warrior as I hate the words ‘patient & sufferer’)
Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to the families of the 66 Australians that lose their life each day to kidney disease.
YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians.
This one is for all my fellow kidney warriors out there. I stand with you, I support you, I admire your courage & persistence.
