In memory of my Nan
Hello! My name is Chloe. I just wanted to jump on here to let you all know that for the next 3 months, 20% of all funds from my business will be going towards kidney health Australia. All funds can help research that could improve treatments and one day find a cure for Kidney disease. Funds will also support services like the Kidney Buddy Program, Kidney Helpline, Kidney Transplant House and the Big Red Kidney Bus.
One of the things that drove me to do this is to shine a spotlight on kidney disease. Very sadly October last year I lost one of the closest people to me my Nan to chronic kidney disease. In response to this, it has pushed me to spread awareness of the disease and make a difference in the lives of others facing kidney disease.
Chronic Kidney Disease is a life not chosen but a life CKD patients are made to deal with every day. Being poked and prodded, surgery, dialysis, and transplants all temporary ways to prolong a life.. Chronic kidney disease affects more than 2 million Australians - that’s one in every 10 Australian adults - yet it is unknown, under - diagnosed, and on the rise.
