There are over 15,000 Australians on dialysis, and that number is rising. That’s why urgent action is needed now - to slow the progression and ultimately stop it.

Wednesday 15th Oct Well, I have made it to halfway and have done more walking than I thought i would have, if I keep up this pace, I could even do 80, 90 or even crack 100km in a month. My feet and calf have been sore so doing more stretching and recovering hence a few days with little walking. But making up for it on other days. Share
First Week Done
Wednesday 8th Oct Well i didn't think that i would have done over 20km of walking already but i have, so i am one third of the way though. Even though i currently feel good and able to move, i am typing this pre-treatment. Post treatment i never know how i am going to feel and barely doing any walking on those days. Make up for it the next day. Share
DGL - Dialysis Group Luncheon
Sunday 5th Oct Well had our 4-6 week DGL, at Torrens Arms Hotel. I got a bus and got off at a stop were it said 15 mins walk away, well it was more like 30 mins for me. How ever many km that is, ( i estimated 5km), I went and did further walking so ended up doing 10km for the day and i am spent after a a nice medium-well scotch fillet steak for lunch followed by a nice Pecan Pie. Over did it
Friday 3rd Oct Was feeling good so thought I would go for a bit longer. Well i did and did do 4km but over did it back started seizing up and could barely move passed out after. Share
