My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
Amazing response from my friends and sponsors !!
Every dollar raised has a really important impact . For example:
$36 helps answer a life-saving call to Kidney Helpline during a time of need
$55 helps cover the cost of one night’s accommodation in the Kidney Transplant House for one person
$80 helps fund education resources to prevent as many people as possible experiencing kidney-related diseases
$240 pairs a Kidney Buddy mentor with someone needing their support for their kidney disease.
I am raising my goal again as fundraising continues till the end of Oct. Thanks again to all my sponsors enabling to raise my goal, I will be logging my kms daily to show my support this October, I’m going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it. By running, walking, or riding 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.

We’re on the home stretch now! Almost at the finish line. 🙌🏁
But don’t stop just yet - we still need your help raising awareness and funds for Australians living with kidney disease. The dollars you raise will go towards supporting research into life-saving treatments and vital support services. ❤️ It’s the last week that you can turn your good health into the support that can save lives by Red Socks Running or walking to the finish line! With your support together we have reached my goal and have raised over $3000, a fantastic result.
I will be walking till the end of October and trying to raise a little more as every dollar helps.

Red Socks Kidney Run
Monday 18th Sep I have been on dialysis now for over two and a half years. Luckily I am on the transplant list, it’s difficult but feel blessed that I have amazing support.
