My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, I’m showing up for every renal unit, every patient and moving towards a future without dialysis.
My friend Angie is one of the strongest people I know. Her partner is living with kidney disease and goes through the challenges of dialysis, and every step of the way Angie is there beside him. It’s not easy watching someone you love fight such a tough battle, but she shows up with courage, patience, and unwavering love.
She carries the weight of worry, the late nights, the endless appointments—and still finds the strength to be a rock of support. Angie’s strength isn’t loud or boastful; it’s in the quiet way she keeps going, the way she lifts him up on the hardest days, and the way she reminds him he’s never alone in this fight.
Behind her smile is resilience, and behind her heart is a kind of love that doesn’t falter.
Every dollar raised, every km logged, every step we take brings us closer to a future without dialysis.
Join me to honour the 60hrs a month someone spends on dialysis and together we can Move for them and Move for change!
Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
