Red Socks Run

My Activity Tracking

My target 60 kms

My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health.

This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run like a life depends on it.

By running, walking or riding 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that kidney disease patients need to spend on dialysis each month.

Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to the families of the 63 Australians that lose their life each day to kidney related diseases.

YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians.

My Updates

Day 4

Tuesday 4th Oct
Today I clocked up some kms doing a trip to Dubbo zoo. During school holidays it’s a great time to visit and an easy way to be active. You can ride, drive or walk around the zoo.

While Dubbo zoo is one of the main attractions in the area it’s also good to recognise the renal team in Dubbo as well. Dubbo hospital has a great team that services a large area like Orange. The staff liaison with lots of rural and remote renal patients and are an important part of the community. Thanks for all your hard work team.👍

Day 1

Saturday 1st Oct
Starting this journey with a trip to lake Canobolas with girl guides from all around the central west. Orange has actually brought some sunshine and it’s a great day to be active.

Orange is actually a hub for renal treatment in this health district. The unit here offers PD, HD and renal supportive care options. The team there is amazing and I am proud of them coming on this journey with me.

More updates to come. Stay hydrated, get your kidneys checked and please donate! ❤️
