My Red Socks Ride for Kidney Health
I’m going to Red Socks Run this October, as life depends on it.
By riding 60km, I want to raise awareness of the 60 hours people affected by kidney disease must spend on dialysis each month.
Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments and support the families of the 66 Australians who lose their lives each day to kidney disease.
YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians.

My History of Kidney Disease
Wednesday 23rd AugA more accurate story about my younger years. I was almost three years old. I was born with a defective kidney. My right kidney shrivelled up to the size of a pea. To prevent things from returning to the kidney, valves were placed on top of the bladder for my left kidney. At the time of my diagnosis, I was very ill; I had emergency surgery which my mother told me took six hours. What now? I get regular checkups). My only kidney is slowly failing these days, so I am glad I started positively impacting people's lives by doing the Kidney Run or Ride for Red Socks Day.
