Red Socks Challenge 2026

My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health

People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine.

This October, I have
committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.

I will be taking on 60km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness and helping fund better care.

Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.

Walking towards hope

Monday 7th Sep

This October, I’ll be taking on the Red Socks 60km Challenge to raise money and awareness for the Kidney Foundation.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. One year ago, my husband Ben was rushed to hospital, where we quickly discovered that he was experiencing acute kidney failure. Our lives changed almost overnight.

Like so many others living with kidney disease, Ben is now reliant on dialysis. Three times a week, he spends five hours at a time connected to a machine to do the vital work his kidneys can no longer do, while we wait and hope for the day he is able to receive a kidney transplant.

Taking on this challenge is my way of supporting the thousands of Australians living with kidney disease and helping raise awareness of the incredible impact it has on individuals and families.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Your support will help raise awareness and assist people and families navigating their own kidney journey.

Thank you so much for supporting me, Ben, and everyone affected by kidney disease. ❤️

Let’s walk 60km and make a difference together! 🧦❤️
