Red Socks Challenge 2026

My Red Socks Challenge for Kidney Health

This October, I have committed to the Red Socks Challenge, to stand with Australians living with kidney disease.

Both diabetes and CKD disproportionally affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Cape York Peninsula has a population of around 15,000 people - of which 52% are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

People on dialysis spend around 60 hours every month connected to a machine.

I will be taking on 60km in October to honour the hours spent on dialysis - raising awareness and helping fund better care.

Please donate to support a better future for people with kidney disease.
