My courageous father, Ruben Paloyo Oringo, passed away on Thursday, 6 June 2024 due to kidney failure. 

There are over 25,000 people in Australia living with kidney failure. There is no cure. Dialysis or a kidney transplant are needed to stay alive.

Instead of flower tributes, it would be much appreciated if you could please support us and help fund vital services and research to ensure those affected can live their best lives.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Thursday 15th Aug
As I sit here, contemplating the thought of celebrating Dad's birthday for the first time after his recent passing, I do so with mixed emotions. I'm glad he's no longer in pain, at peace, blissful and united with the stardust and God. On the other hand, I miss his physical presence. I know he'll always be a. part of me; his blood runs through my veins, some of his traits are innate in me and I see him in my brothers, my sons, my nieces and nephews.  My heart will forever have a tear which cannot be mended but as per the art of Kintsugi, I intend to put it together with gold by continuing my life journey with authenticity, humility, gratitude and agape.
