Entering the Rally

The Kidney Kar Rally is for anyone and any car. It doesn’t matter if you’re a lifetime Rally driver, beginner or don’t want to rally drive at all, you can get involved and join the Rallytive family.

Rally Kar 

If you don’t mind taking things off road and onto tricky terrain, this is the option for you.

The Rally sections are designed to take you off the beaten track providing an adventure where teamwork and mechanical sympathy for your vehicle should see you cover the set course each day.

Your place at the beginning of the Kidney Kar Rally is determined by how much money you have been able to raise for kids and youth living with kidney disease.

How much does it cost?

  • Kar Registration Fee - $360 per vehicle (non-refundable)
  • Early Bird Individual Entry Fee - $1,350 per person (Ends 31st March 2025) An initial entry fee of $200 is taken at time of registering with the remainder split into monthly instalments until June.
  • Standard Individual Entry Fee - $1,500 per person (from 1st April 2025) An initial entry fee of $750 is taken at time of registering with the remainder deducted in June.

What does the registration & entry fees cover?

All meals (except the lay day), t-shirt & name badge, entertainment, event officials, event photography, first aid & gear truck support and RallySafe monitoring.

Minimum Fundraising Per Car

$4,000 - 50% fundraising disbursement payable 30th April 2025, final fundraising due 31st August 2025.

Kruise Kar

If you’re unsure about tackling the dirt tracks or you simply want to dip your toes in the Rally world, this is the option for you.

Get involved in all the best parts of the Rally, the scenic countyside, the comradery, the cause and the fun without needing to go off-road. You won’t travel through the Rally course at any time but will go on your own adventure with the rest of the Kruise Kars.

How much does it cost?

  • Kar Registration Fee - $360 per vehicle (Non-refundable) 
  • Individual Entry Fee - $750 per person An initial registration fee of $150 is taken when registering with the remainder split into monthly instalments until June.

What does the registration & entry fees cover?

All meals (except the lay day), t-shirt & name badge, entertainment, first aid support, event officials and event photography.

Minimum Fundraising Per Car

Minimum fundraising per car $4,000 - 50% fundraising disbursement due 30th April 2025 with final fundraising due 31st August 2025.

Back-up Kar

Support your fellow Rallytives and register as a Back-up Kar! These cars are optional and can be nominated by a rally entrant to travel as their support vehicle. They must be four-wheel drive and be able to help safely perform recovery duties for their team and assist as an official vehicle if required.

Back-ups are allowed to travel through the rally course at the back of the field or follow the Kruise Kars on the main roads.
