My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it.
By running, walking, or riding 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.

Our Reason
Wednesday 11th SepOur beautiful boy was born with a condition called hydronephrosis which affects the kidneys, ureters and bladder.
After a year of multiple hospital admissions, too many courses of antibiotics, a life threatening blood infection and a very scary surgery, Xavier has a life altering diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease.
That is why Ben and I have decided to do Red Socks Run to support Kidney Health Australia this October.
I'm not one to post our private life on social media but this cause is just too important to us not to share and bring awareness around. Knowledge is powerful and education is key.
1 in 6 of us will be hospitalized with kidney disease or complications surrounding it so I believe the more you know, the better.

Our boy is so loving, happy, brave and smart and we want to thank those working to save people like him by supporting the cause and hope you will too.
