My Achievements

My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health

This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it.

By running, walking, or riding 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.

Not only am I running/ walking for 60km and more, I’m participating in the Raw Challenge at Doyalson at the end of October!

Dad spent a lot of time on dialysis and in general, many years in and out of hospital progressively getting worse each year before we said our final goodbyes at the beginning of 2019. If he could put a brave face on through his illnesses even if it was for us, then I can do this! Let’s support an amazing charity who works tirelessly to help those in their time of need and support.

Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to individuals and families affected by kidney failure.

YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians.

Doing It For Dad

Monday 26th Aug
When we lost Dad in 2019, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. I spent numerous hours in therapy, physically hurting myself to take the emotional pain away, many nights crying myself to sleep and many many random depressive episodes.
This year is the year of pushing myself to do hard things and one of them is the Raw Challenge. My theory is, if Dad can put a brave face on during the hard times then so can I!
Doing it for Dad is my new motto and this is one of the ways to support him!
