It’s hard to find the right words to honor someone as special as Joe Marra. He was genuine, kind and authentic. He didn’t just welcome us; he embraced us, taking care of us in ways that only someone with a heart as big as his could. He faced his battle with courage and strength, carrying himself with such grace even in the hardest moments. Yet, despite everything he was going through, his first concern was always others—asking how I was doing and make sure I was okay. That’s just the kind of person he was. Every interaction with him felt meaningful, every gesture carried weight, and every moment in his presence felt like a gift.
