My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, once again, I’m going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it.
By running, walking, or riding THE FIRST 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.
I have many memories, of my mum at dialysis, either at the dialysis centre in Taree, at home when she got a machine for home and at either Manning base or John Hunter hospitals and if I can help improve the research or raise money for families like my own even just to raise awareness, I’ll be happy 📍🟥
You can lose 90% of kidney function before you even know you have kidney disease.
Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to individuals and families affected by kidney failure.
YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians. ❤️
