Our Red Socks Run for Kidney Health.
This October Meg and Jordan will be walking, running or riding 60km to raise awareness for the 60 hours that kidney disease patients need to spend on dialysis each month and for the 66 Australian families that lose a loved one to kidney related diseases each day.
Why is this so important to us?
When Meg was 3 years old, she was diagnosed with hypertension and stage 3 chronic renal failure with 50% kidney function. Though it hasn't been an easy feat, Meg has been one of the lucky ones in that she hasn't yet required dialysis or a kidney transplant.
Please help us raise awareness and funds to help families like ours affected by kidney disease.
