Our Red Run for Our Rory & Kidney Health.
Our beloved Rory was born with chronic Kidney Disease. At just 15 months of age he had surgery to completely remove this kidney as it had no function. Although he has one kidney remaining he is suffering daily kidney associated challenges which are endangering the health of his only kidney. Unfortunately Rory's specialists have had to warn us that Rory may one day require kidney dialysis or transplant to save his life. Please help us raise awareness and/or funds for kidney health to show Rory that his health matters and support him in the daily challenges he faces!
This October, we're going to Run in Red like a life depends on it.
By running, walking or riding 60km we want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that kidney disease patients need to spend on dialysis each month.
Please donate to our page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to the families of the 66 Australians that lose their life each day to kidney related diseases.
