My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, we're taking part in the Red Socks Run, because lives depend on it.Â
By running, walking, or riding 60km through the month of October, we're raising awareness of the 60 hours people with kidney failure spend on dialysis each month.
You may know our beloved Finn as the hilarious, Freddie Mercury-obsessed future farmer, but he's also a kidney warrior. Born with kidney disease, Finley has been fighting from day one. In 2020, he developed Haemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS), which led to total renal failure and dialysis. Against the odds, Finley made an incredible recovery, proving just how strong he is. However, his last check-up in July revealed lasting effects from the severe kidney injury, meaning he’ll need lifelong medication to manage his condition.
