My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it.
By running, walking, or riding 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.
I was 9 years old when I started peritoneal dialysis begore changing to harmo as a kid at an adult hospital. It was scary, but the nurses always cared & helped me.
Since my kudney transplant, I have met a lot great warriors. Clint, in the image gallery passed away six years ago after a long battle witg chronic kidney disease. Luke, Clints mate & I all met on Kidney Health Australia Kidney Kids Kamps. Our friendship lasting 24-27years. I miss them daily. However advocating for chronic kidney disease is why I am here.
Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to individuals and families affected by kidney failure.
YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians.
