My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it.
I have decided to walk 124 kilometres in October as this would have been the number of hours I would have spent doing dialysis before I received my life saving kidney transplant in November 2021! I certainly don’t miss doing dialysis 4 times a day, 7 days a week for roughly an hour from start to finish.
By running, walking, or riding 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.
Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to the families of the 66 Australians that lose their life each day to kidney disease.

ABC South East Radio Interview
Friday 6th Oct I think the radio interview went really well this morning, I'm always nervous when I do these things as you never know whether you are going to sound intelligent or not! haha
