Red Socks Run 2023

My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health

This is very close to my 💖. My Mum has Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease if her kidney function goes down anymore she will be put on to dialysis. I also have Stage 3a Chronic Kidney Disease and been monitored every three months. Our family friend who I call my sister was on dialysis for a very long time watching her been hooked up to the dialysis machine three times a week if not more for hours and hours. I remember I was only a kid but I would sit with her to keep her company whilst the machine worked it magic. She was one of the lucky ones to get a kidney.

This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run as life depends on it.

By walking 60km I want to raise awareness of the 60hrs that people affected by kidney disease need to spend on dialysis each month.

Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to the families of the 66 Australians that lose their life each day to kidney disease.

YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians.
