My Red Socks Run for Kidney Health
This October, I’m going to Red Socks Run to help raise money for Kidney Health Australia.
This means a lot to me, and hits close to my heart. My younger sister is 22 and currently in stage 5 kidney failure, doing dialysis 7 days a week and eagerly awaiting a Kidney Transplant.
Unfortunately at this current moment, Kidney Disease and Kidney Failure has no cure. Only treatments, to help people suffering try and live a normal life.
By running, walking, or riding 60km I want to raise awareness for those who are on dialysis, and especially my sister who currently spends 720 hours a month on Dialysis.
Please donate to my page to raise funds for research into life-saving treatments, and provide support to the families of the 66 Australians that lose their life each day to kidney disease.
YOU can make a difference – Join me and help create a future where kidney health is a priority for all Australians.
